According to the definition of the Guild of Music Supervisors, an American entity representing the sector, musical supervisor is a qualified professional who oversees all aspects related to music in an audiovisual production.
A very common figure in the international industry, this professional has been increasingly active in Brazilian productions and his work covers several aspects, including creation, technical, legal and administrative knowledge.
To deal with the main characteristics, myths and truths about this profession, on the 6/10th, at 10am, there is the panel "Musical supervision: expendable or essential". The musical producer and composer Gui Amabis and musical supervisor Mariana Amabis, both from Amabis/Audio Thematics; the co-founder of INPUT POST and president of the Guild of Music Supervisors in Brazil, Mario Di Poi; and the lawyer Pilar Robles, from the firm Cesnik, Quintino, Salinas, Fittipaldi and Valerio Advogados (CQS/FV). The moderation will be by journalist Julio Maria, reporter and critic of the newspaper O Estado de S.Paulo.
