On Wednesday, 9, the second day of programming of EXPOCINE, the largest film business convention in Latin America, brought to the market the presentations of the line up 2024/2025 of distributors Kolbe Arte, Paris Films, Link Studios and Image Films. Elo also brought the special participation of singer Belo, who is in the cast of the long "Falling in the Real", with premiere scheduled for October 24, and actor Rodrigo Simas to release the film "Viva a Vida" one of his future projects for the telona.

Among the lectures, which took place on the stage of the auditorium of the Renaissance Hotel, the event began the day discussing the central theme of this edition, Connecting cinema to the future. For Hernán Viviano, VP Latam from Warner and Universal, who was one of the participants in the conversation, the industry as a whole is working well and being creative in the advertising campaigns and seeking to bring the audience to the cinema, as it has always been done.

"We are an industry that depends on the product and when it connects with the audience is a success. One wonderful question that streaming brought was that we increasingly have lovers of different genres. So each film has a much greater potential than it had in the past. Our challenge, of all as an industry, is to continue doing our best and hand-holding the showers, distributors and producers."

The possibilities and the current reality of productions aimed at the child audience also gained space in the event on Wednesday. Beth Carmona, general director of the ComKids Festival, spoke about the responsibility of creating content for children with educational commitment to inspire in the future.

"Education through the world of screens is to be able to offer resources for these children to have their eyes stimulated, learn from the viewpoint of audiovisual aesthetics. The formation of the look involves the informative content, the theme of history, but it passes through aesthetic information. So, offering children these images with variety, quantity and diversity is a job for the future."

Throughout the day, the perspectives and challenges of production, distribution and cinematographic exhibition, the importance of international co-productions for Brazil and the digitization process of the exhibiting park in Brazil completed meetings between professionals in the sector.

Already the schedule of workshops, located in the Ancine room, the Cine Marquise, counted with three activities on Wednesday. The first addressed creativity and critical thinking as ways to boost audiovisual projects. Next, participants could know and discuss ways to apply AI technologies to transform the cinematographic processes. Finally, alternatives of how to enrich contact with the public before, during and after the exhibition, encouraging loyalty was the theme of the last meeting.
