The Battle of Maria Antônia Street (Image Films) reached the cinemas on March 27 after adopting a very differentiated strategy of disclosure. In addition to participating in several festivals, the film was also presented in a meeting with students, such as the UNE Congress, which took place in January in Recife. Production shows a real battle between students and teachers of the Brazilian Student Movement against dictatorship in 1968. In an interview with Portal Exhibition, producer Manoel Rangel pointed out that, by portraying a struggle of young students, this public received the work with great enthusiasm and exalted innovation in the dissemination strategy.
Ministry of Culture will take audiovisual professionals to Marché du Film 2025
After Brazil's announcement as a country of honour for Marché du Film 2025, considered the world's largest international film market and taking place during the Cannes Festival, this year between 13 and 21 May, the Ministry of Culture is launching the Circulation Notice - Brazil Country of Honor - Marché du Film 2025 to take 30 audiovisual professionals to integrate the special programs of Marché du Film. With an investment of R$ 318,000, the initiative is part of the strategic actions to strengthen the presence of different links in the production chain of Brazilian audiovisual.
