In a world in which content is produced for global exploration, as content producers and distributors are positioning themselves to relate commercially to global players. Many companies are already being founded and thought to act globally, producing and distributing content beyond the Brazilian territory. Another movement that has been taking place increasingly consistently is the investment of foreign companies in Brazilian companies, in view of the large Brazilian consumer market.
Given this scenario, what are the advantages and challenges of acting internationally? What tax and financial issues should be addressed? These are some of the issues that will be addressed in the panel promoted by the firm CQS/FV Advogados on September 22, at 2:00 p.m., in the Spcine Room at Cine Marquise.
Participate in the panel: Luiz Bannitz, co-CEO and director of Business Affairs, Business and Content Encrypta, licensing platform, curatorship, aggregation, distribution and display; Ivan Boeing, general director of Diamond Films Brazil, largest independent distributor in Latin America; and Fábio Lima, founder and CEO of Sofa Digital, aggregator of data and content for VOD. The mediation will be by lawyer Daniella Galvão, master in Tax Law, partner at CQS/FV Advogados.
