More than ever the film market needs to unite its fronts to face so many challenges that the Covid-19 pandemic brought to the sector. So the first day of Expocine 2020 (October 15), one of the programming panels will bring a conversation between representatives of the exhibition, production and distribution areas.
Na SPcine Room, Felipe Lopes, director of Showcase Movies, Brazilian film distributor as Bacurau and Invisible Life, Luiz Gonzaga de Luca, President of Cinépolis Brasil, one of the largest cinema networks in the country, and Walkíria Barbosa, CEO of Total Entertainment, film producer like If I Were You 1 and 2, discuss the role of each area in the audiovisual gear and what actions should be taken at this time of crisis because of the difficulties faced by the paralysis of cinemas, filming sets, etc.
The mediation of the table is carried out by Pedro Butcher, a researcher, film critic and journalist who collaborates with various vehicles including the Economic value.
