One more confirmed weight table for Expocine 2020, virtual event that takes place on October 15th and 16th. Curated by the producer and former director of Ancine, Deborah Ivanov, the panel "The crisis in the production of national content" will receive five professionals with extensive expertise in the sector to talk about challenges and problems to be faced in the brazilian production chain.
They will be present at the table Mariza Leão, founder of Brunette Movies, Andrea Barata Ribeiro, partner of O2 Films, Carla Esmeralda Curator of Rio2C and founder of the Esmeralda ProductionsVânia Lima, managing partner of It has Dende Productions, and Viviane Ferreira, managing partner of Odun Films and president of the Brazilian Oscar Selection Committee 2021.
The meeting will address, among other issues, the issues that have put the entire Brazilian audiovisual production chain at risk, such as the damping of public resources and the abrupt changes in rules for Ancine incentives.
