A Spcine, a public audiovisual company in the city of São Paulo, participates in the last day of Expocine (October 16) from a table on international mechanisms for attraction of filming.
Flavia Gonzaga, coordinator of São Paulo Film Commission, will mediate the table that counts with José Castro, from Film Commission of Costa Rica, and Monica Sufar, from Warner Media from Latin America, to comment on the boom of international mechanisms of attraction of filming and their experiences with international productions.
Four years ago, Spcine launched the São Paulo Film Commission, mechanism of attraction of international filming for the city of São Paulo, attracting to date 4,000 productions and generating 87,000 jobs.
In addition to the debate table, Spcine is also a supporter of Expocine 2020"We are very happy with the partnership of such an important entity for the promotion of our sector, which generates so many jobs and opportunities. The mechanisms of international filming attractions in the city of São Paulo are extremely relevant. It is something already used in several countries around the world and it brings development not only to the city, but also to the local audiovisual industry," explains Marcelo J. L. Lima, the event's creator.
