Registration for the Pitching of audiovisual projects at Expocine 2021 is open from July 1 to August 23. Interested parties can enroll their long films (documentary and fiction) projects and fiction series projects, which will be selected for a presentation for a group of market players, which will be held virtually during Expocine, between November 16th and 19th.
The group of players consists of representatives of channels and TV, producers, streaming platforms and movie distributors, many with already confirmed presence. They also indicated what their preferences or what they seek in the market, information that can be provided on Expocine's social networks, a strategic tool for producers to prepare.
In order to participate, the interested person must carry out the accreditation type "PITCHING" and submit his project or script, of serial work (fiction) or feature film (fiction, documentary or animation). In addition to the submission of the project, this accreditation will have all the benefits of the accreditation of the event in its virtual modality, which will have a program of courses, tables and lectures, in addition to the public presentation of pitchings.
In October, 40 selected projects (20 of serial works and 20 feature films) will be presented to a pre-selection bank, which will determine 10 finalists in each segment, which will present its defense during the largest convention of the Latin American film industry.
