The executive believes that the pandemic exposed several problems of the film sector and the moment, now, is of challenges to regain credibility, the public and motivation in the midst of a difficult economic recovery. "This is threatening and, at the same time, stimulating."
For the next six months the distributor intends to launch Uncontrollable Fury with Russell Crowe; In War With Grandpa with Robert de Niro and Uma Thurman; Fatima with Sonia Braga; the sequel After: After The Truth; Final Destruction: The Last Refuge with Gerard Butler and Morena Baccarin; 355, an action and espionage film with Jessica Chastain, Lupita Nyong'o and Penelope Cruz; Voyagers Colin Farrell, among others.
"Independent titles will be more than ever a good bet for cinemas to resume and be able to count on Diamond's presence, in our programming, is of great value," celebrates Marcelo J. L. Lima, founder of Expocine.
