Already consolidated as the largest business convention of the film industry in Latin America, Expocine reached significant numbers in 2019. There were more than 30 lectures, over 2,700 accredited, more than 120 brands exposing at the business fair and the adherence of the audiovisual production segment to the cinematographic displayers and distributors that composed the past editions of the event.
With all this success, Tonks, a company that is the director of Expocine, confirmed the change of venue for the event to the WTC Events Center - World Trade Center of São Paulo, located in the Av region. Luis Carlos Berrini (São Paulo-SP), an area where the largest advertising and technology agencies in Brazil are concentrated, as well as the proximity and easy access of the city-based production, distribution and exhibition offices.
"The event deserved to grow and occupy an even more comfortable space with more possibilities of exposure and impact on the global chain of the audiovisual market. Therefore, the decision to carry out Expocine 2020 WTC Events Center was an organic decision on the evolution of the convention", said Marcelo J. L. Lima, CEO of Tonks."Very excited and eager to see how Expocine will stay in your new home", completed Lima.
In the new space Expocine will have Golden Hall, exclusively dedicated to the business fair, with booths and activations of suppliers of products and services from the market. For the content of panels and lectures are reserved two auditoriums, in addition to a third exclusive for pitchings and business rounds, activities that gain even more prominence this year. For the presentations of distributors, Expocine will have an audience of 550 places extinguishing the old solution of dividing the public into two spaces.
The agreement between EXPOCINE and the WTC Events Center - World Trade Center of São Paulo is four years old. Therefore, the dates of the convention are already very confirmed by 2023. Programme:
